Using pressure to relieve anxiety has been a common practice for a long time in humans as well as animals.

Thundershirts are like a t-shirt for your dog or cat that applies gentle, constant pressure to their torso for a calming effect; much like you giving them a hug.

Many cats and dogs are fearful of thunderstorms, car rides, separation and new places. Anxiety caused by this can also lead to bad habits like barking and digging.

The Thundershirt is an inexpensive, long lasting solution to aid in these stressful times for your pet.

Fitting the Thundershirt is simple. Just measure around the largest point of your dog’s ribcage as illustrated below.

You do not need to measure the length of your dog as the Thundershirt is only supposed to cover the area around your dog’s ribcage. It is not made to keep your dog warm so further length is not necessary.

Below is a diagram of how to fit the Thundershirt to your dog in 4 simple steps for maximum efficiency.
