  • Treats and controls all major intestinal worms of cats, including roundworm and hookworm
  • Also controls tapeworm
  • Protects from heartworm when given monthly

Kittens are first exposed to intestinal worms soon after birth, as they commonly become infested with roundworm transmitted in their mothers milk.

Adult cats are exposed to worms through soil in the outdoor environment, as well as from eating small animals like mice who can act as intermediate hosts for some species of gastrointestinal worms.

Heavy infestations with worms can cause diarrhoea, weight loss, poor growth and anaemia. Kittens are particularly susceptible to problems caused by infestion with intestinal worms, so they should be wormed more frequently than adult cats.

Directions for Use

Weigh cats before treatment. Cats are treated by weight with the appropriate sized tablet or combination of tablets. Milbemax Allwormer is given as a single dose by mouth. Milbemax Allwormer should be administered with or after some food. Milbemax Allwormer for cats is available in two sizes. Small cat tablet for kittens and cars from 1.1 - 4.4 lbs (0.5 kg to 2 kg) and a larger cat size for cats between 4.4 and 17.6 lbs (2 and 8 kg). Kittens and very small cats between 1.1 and 2.2 lbs (0.5 and 1 kg) are given half of the small cat tablet. Cats between 4.4 and 8.8 lbs (2 and 4 kg) receive half of the larger cat tablet. Cats over 17.6 lbs (8 kg) are given an appropriate combination of the large cat sized tablets.
