What should I feed my bird?
Author: Aussie Vet Products Date Posted:1 September 2014

Did you know that not all birds should be fed the same diet? In the wild birds of different species forage for different seeds, grains, fruits, flowers and even insects depending on the season. In order to ensure your bird is receiving the best nutrition for their particular breed check out Vetafarm’s species feeding guide below. As well as a seed, pellet or crumbles diet it is important to always provide fresh water and a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables such as leafy greens, melon, blueberries and carrots.
